- ((USP)) NEW DEMO CD OUT!
The Ultrasonic
Project is pleased to announce that our long-awaited demo CD of

- ((USP)) HAS FOUND NEW BASS PLAYER!
After a long
winter of auditions and tryouts for our new bass player, we have
found our new bass player. Meet Sam Smith, a young man from the
Pilsen district of Chicago IL. Sam is ready and willing to make the
((USP)) rise again from the ashes and come out on the road with us
for the summer. Welcome Sam Smith into the ((USP)) fold!

Paulie is now known as Petrtified. He always was Petrified but we
started calling him DJ Paulie because he is Paulie to us!

- GALLERY IMAGES AVAILABLE
I have added a
galleries section to the live part of the website. I will add
show-specific photos and audio within the live show archive on the "live"
page for all new shows to be played.

- DEMO CD AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD!
The new
((USP)) demo CD is finally completed! It took us some time
to get it right, and of course it can always be better. So we start
working on our next "demo" CD, or should we say the new EP CD! We're
not satisfied until it's perfect so we'll go back in the studio and
rework some of the material and put it back down onto our Pro Tools
system and see what we can improve on. We're hoping to put some live
tracks onto the new CD. Go to the "sonics"
page for the download of our new demo CD, download the tracks and

- NEW KEYBOARD PLAYER!!!
Some of you who
made it out to the Artmarket gig we did
June 19th 2005 will have noticed a new face gracing the
((USP)) stage. We
would like to announce that we have found our master keyboardist and
musical brethren, MICHAEL COLE!!! Michael is an all-around good guy,
and excellent and incredibly talented musician and keyboardist who
lends his hands to our project as well as other projects, most
notably another popular Chicago-based band,
BUMPUS.
We’re all really excited and honored to have him as part of the
((USP)) and we’ve really
had a great time playing with him so far, and we’re hoping that the
musical collaborations continue. Welcome him to the band! You can

- DEMO ALMOST DONE! FIRST GIG!
The new
((USP)) demo CD is almost done! We've gotten some really
great sounds on hard drive and we are excited to be getting it out
and about! We'll hopefully have some demo CDs to give away just in
time for our very first official gig!! Our good friend Dan Baron and
his Windy City Records is putting on the Summer Solstice Artmarket
music showcase. We are excited
to be a part of this event taking place during the Taste of Randolph
Street festival at the Landmark Arts Gallery. Check the "((USP))

- 420! DEMO IN-PROGRESS, WEBSITE MODS
We are excited
to be recording our debut demo in the next few weeks! This
will be a live in the studio auditory excursion showcasing our
musical strengths. We will be posting music clips and session
pictures along the way, taking you, the listener, into the studio
with the ((USP)), giving you a glimpse of the recording

- NEW AUDIO DOWNLOADS
We're slowly but surely adding audio
clips to our "sonics" page from our August and September
rehearsal recordings. These are with our new bassist, Jack Pieroth,
but are still devoid of any keyboards. ((USP)) is
looking for a new keyboard player so if you know of anyone........we
have an ad in Relix magazine.

Well, we
finally did it. We have redesigned our website and we couldn't be
more thrilled! Easier navigation for a better ((USP)) web experience!

- NEW BASS PLAYER
It is
with great excitement and enthusiasm that we can now announce that
we have found our new bass player! Please join us in welcoming JACK
PIEROTH into the sonic fold. Jack
has recently been playing with local
Ben
Crooch and was also the bassist for another popular local
jamband,
Speargrass.
We are thrilled to have Jack filling the auditory void of subsonic
existence! ((USP)) is ready to dive headfirst into our
in-progress demo recording. Please welcome Jack and look for more
audio clips of our demo recording process to be posted here in the
very near future....
